KENNETH R. DANKEL, 63, of Arnold died on December 20, 2009 at his home in Arnold.  Born October 29, 1946 in St. Louis, he was the son of Raymond A. and Bernell W. Dankel.

He was a retired teamster, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a life time member of the N.R.A.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley (Parks) of Arnold; one son, Michael Dankel of Barnhart and one daughter, Rhonda Gowen of Arnold; 4 grandchildren, Steven, Allyson, Katlin, and Jacob; 2 brothers, Donald (Brenda) Dankel of Barnhart and Terry (Debra) Dankel of Arnold; one sister Janet (Jim) Hubbard of Imperial.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

Services:  A visitation will be held in the chapel of St. Louis Cremation on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 5-8 p.m.  The interment of cremated remains  is to be determined at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
