Carolyn Brewer

Carolyn Brewer (Linda Carolyn Mason) of Terre Du Lac, Missouri passed away on October 14, 2023 at Mercy South Hospital, following a brain aneurysm on October 11th .

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Jack; brother, Keith(Becky); children Greg(Teresa) and Todd(Katherine); grandchildren Jake and Lee Anna(Andy) and great-granddaughter, Emma.

Born – according to official records on December 30, 1948 (or according to her brother Mike, the 28th …..and he was there, so he claimed authority on the subject and it was the source of much discussion), in Leadwood, Missouri, Carolyn lived a full, active and adventurous life while raising her sons and caring for many other children in the area. She enjoyed family, traveling, crafts, gardening and wearing out the soles of her shoes walking/visiting around Terre Du Lac! She loved sharing her garden
plants with the community and while traveling widely, her favorite place was always coming home to
Southeast Missouri.

In line with her wishes, Carolyn was cremated and a celebration of life is being planned for a later date.

My heart is breaking ! We love and will be thinking of Jack and the family! We meet them at my art show in orange beach and she bought Metal art for her beautiful garden! Jack and Carolyn became part of our family and when. I retired we still got together at the beach when they came to stay! She was a precious soul and we will definitely miss her wise , caring soul!! Much love and prayers! Bj and Cindy Cail
