Carol Sue Wheeler

Carol (Sue) Wheeler went to be with the Lord on 11/3/2023.  She was born 11/4/1942 in Winchester, KY.

Sue attended Winchester High School and graduated from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY.  She worked for the Department of the Army (ALMSA) as a computer system programmer in St Louis, MO.  She loved gardening, traveling, nature, wild birds, her kitties and she was an avid fan of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond T. and Bertha (Coghill) Wheeler.  Sue is survived by her brother James (Jim) Wheeler, sister-in-law Kathleen (Kathie) Wheeler and nephew Patrick Wheeler (Lindsay, Rylee, Luke, Rachel).  She was an extended family member to many.  She was a neighbor, friend and former co-worker to many.

A joint memorial service with her brother, James Ray Wheeler, will be held at Faith Community Church in St. Johns, Fl 32259 by Pastor Dusty Phillips on 28 November 2023. St. Louis Cremation will service Sue and then she will lay by her parents in Grove Hill Cemetery – Shelbyville, Kentucky.  Many thanks to Laclede Groves Lutheran Senior services.  Any donations in her memory may be sent to Laclede Groves, 723 S.     Sue was a great friend and family member. She had a beautiful yard and was an avid gardener. She will be missed at family celebrations.
