Robert R. Hill

Robert “Bob” Hill, passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 92. Born August 16, 1931, he was preceded in death by his parents, Ona (Parish) and Ray Hill, and daughter Sharon (Hill) Corbett (spouse Tom).

Bob is survived by his loving wife Bettie (Kronable) Hill; brother Charles Hill (spouse Gunilla); daughter Terri (Hill) Stout (spouse Steven); granddaughters Rebecca Hill and Laney (Stout) Lazier (spouse Ryan); grandsons Christopher Hill and Nathan Stout (spouse Megan); great grandchildren Kaylee (Koch) Jordan (spouse Will), Raegan Lazier, Emersen Lazier, and Henley Stout; great-great grandchildren Ryker Koch, Karsyn Jordan, and Josie Jordan, and six nieces and nephews and their families.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Bob attended St. Louis Public Schools and graduated valedictorian from Fairview High School, Class of 1949. He then attended St. Louis University on a scholarship and received his bachelor degree in accounting. On June 6, 1953, he married his high school sweetheart, Bettie Kronable. Following graduation
from St. Louis University and marriage, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and reached the ranks of corporal and specialist. After serving his country, he enjoyed a career in
accounting and tax services as a Certified Public Accountant serving numerous companies and clients.

Bob loved the outdoors. Deer and duck hunting were his passions as were his times with Bettie when both enjoyed fishing and gold panning. They spent much of their
leisure time at the family farm in Dexter, Missouri. Bob and Bettie greatly enjoyed cruises and visited many ports of call around the globe. They are members of
Wentzville United Methodist Church.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Saturday, November 18, 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel located at 5200 Lucas and Hunt Road, St. Louis,
Missouri, 63121. Family and friends are invited to enjoy visitation at the chapel from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by the memorial service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of
flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ducks Unlimited at donate.ducks.org.
