I grew up in the small town of Leadwood and knew Lucy’s family. Lucy’s youngest sister and I attended kindergarten through 12th grade together. I remember how envious (and mad) I was when Judy told us that Lucy and Fred had gotten tickets to see the Beatles in Busch Stadium on their first American tour. Lucy’s obituary listed her many activities and accomplishments — she is to be admired for helping others so much. Not too bad for an old Leadwood Purple Pup. I send my best wishes to Lucy’s family. God bless you all.
