Brian died on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 of lung cancer.  He was born January 30, 1947 in Henry, South Dakota.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mable Van Sickle, his sister Lynn, his brothers Claude Delbert and Alan.  He is survived by his brother David, his Sister in Law Linda Van Sickle,  his nieces Michaelle, Ann, Melinda and Jessica, his dear friend Terri Coates, Carol Jerome and many other friends in St. Louis and South Dakota.

He was a veteran of service with the Navy, and was employed until his retirement by the Missouri Department of Corrections.  A memorial service will be announced.
