Elaine “Sis” Louise Hall
Elaine “Sis” Louise Hall, 96, of St. Louis, Missouri died Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Mercy Hospice South-deGreeff Hospice House.
She was born February 12, 1927 in Jackson, Missouri to Lansing and Caroline Lewis.
She worked as a production manager for St. Louis Medicine Magazine at St. Louis Medical Society before retiring in 1993. She lived the last decade of her life at The Village at Mackenzie Place. She was quite a social butterfly, enjoying Mahjong, cards of all kinds and putting puzzles together. Elaine loved quilting, sewing, embroidery and making jewelry.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Laurie Hall, nieces and nephews Larry (Carolyn) Lewis, Jim (Linda) Lewis, Karen (Bob) Weiler, Lynette Lewis, Pat (Marcella) Lewis, Mike (Lucy) Lewis, Lisa (Brian) Plaisted and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Beth Hall, her father, Lansing, and mother, Caroline, her brothers, William and his wife, Lou, Warren (Sonny) and his wife, Evelyn.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 30, from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
