Patricia “Pat” Ann Gambill, age 86, of St.Louis passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 with her son at her side. 

She was born August 5, 1937 in Saint Louis, a daughter of the late Helen and Leslie Bertts. She lived most of her life in the Dutchtown area. 

Pat was preceded by her husband Ernest “Steve” Gambill, parents Helen and Leslie Bertts, and siblings Rose, Jo Ann, and Mary. 

She was a loving grandmother and a friend to all that were fortunate to know her. She enjoyed more than anything spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and would always say, “I love you a whole bunch and a little bit!” Pat was a strong, fiercely independent woman with a giving heart and a sense of humor like no other. All that knew her loved her as family. 

Pat is survived by her son, Steven Gambill, grandchildren, Stephanie (m. Bret Zingrich) Gambill, Matthew (partner Lydia Wheat) Gambill, 7 great grandchildren, Lillian, Emersyn, Jase, Millie, Bennett, Alora, and Elliott, as well as one brother, Tom Bertts and one sister, Kathy Bertts. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. 

Memorial Service will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time for friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local charity or organization in the St. Louis area.
