John L. Henry

John L. Henry, aged 65, passed away on December 30, 2023. He was a beloved life partner, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He was born on November 7, 1958, in St. Louis, MO, where he spent his formative years. He attended Cleveland High School and later became a mechanic and an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

John is survived by his life partner, Rose Collet, mother, Rose Henry, sister, Tina Henry (Don Marcus), sister, Tami Burns (Bill Burns), sister, Teresa Henry, sister Jen Henry-Krakowski (James Krakowski), nephews, Kevin Burns, John Dowdy, Sam Krakowski, nieces, Tia Henry, Kaylyn Dowdy, Charlotte Krakowski and great nephew, Jack Burns.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Henry and sister Valerie Henry.

His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at

21 Rock

#1 Meramec Height Shopping Center

Arnold, Missouri 63010 

There will also be a memorial ride before the celebration.
Riders will leave out from 21 Rock parking lot at 11:00 a.m.

    I grew up a nieghbor to the Henry family John was always a good friend to everyone an there to help anyone! He always looked out for other people. My deepest sympathy for his Rose and the family . RIP my friend , John🙏🏻❤️

    You and my mom (1st cousins) shared same bday only different few years apart.
    My entire life you both drove me nuts saying ” When one went the other was right behind em’ ” well John passed suddenly on December 30th …My mom had gallbladder surgery on the 28th then on the 1st was admitted into the Icu from complications of surgery…She passed on 01/17 @ 1:17 am both born 11/07

    They are both dearly missed.
    So unexpected and unfair. They were both such amazing individuals with huge hearts. Heaven has gained two very special angles. Xoxo

    As a kid John was a good big brother to Val. I’m sure that continued though life. I’m so sorry for all of you and a loss that is so difficult. Sending prayers for God’s arms to wrap you up and hold though your loss.
