After They Are Gone
When someone we love passes away,
We ache, but we go on;
Our dear departed would want us to heal,
After they are gone.
Grief is a normal way to mend
The anguish and pain in our hearts;
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
Before the recovery starts.
Let’s draw together to recuperate,
As we go through this period of sorrow;
Let’s help each other, with tender care
To find a brighter tomorrow.

May the pain you’re suffering be gently eased by time, and by the love and understanding of those who truly care. May your sorrow eventually be soothied by all the cherished memories which are left for you to treasure. May all the thought and prayers which are with you at this time help to bring you special comfort and to ease the pain you bear.
Shirley, Johnnie and Sis,
Please accept my sincere sympathy over the recent loss of your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God’s promise of eternal life bring you comfort in the days ahead.
I refuse to put anything religious on here. Because not once when I was alive, I ever seen you care about church or read a freakin’ Bible. And I’m placing that out of respect of you, not because I’m going to follow what everyone else is saying.
And I respect that. Dad, you’re in a better place. You’re placed next to Nana and you’re no longer in pain.
In your OWN way, you’re watching over us.
Which is good.
See ya in 50+ years.
Love, Alexis
