Melanie, Laura and Kathy, Of you kids, I knew you the best. I carpooled daily from Pine with your mom to Pattonville Heights for the years I worked there…my first years there. We talked a lot about everything, with her children always the highest priority personally, (and our professional experiences too)…you were still in school. What a very dear person, professional, friend, and mom. She had a profound way of being gentle while strong. She lived fully, attentively, faithfully, and always deeply meaningfully. I am extremely sorry that I cannot be there with you for her at the service on Saturday. She will be so missed by all, and of course, mostly by her family. My deepest, deepest sympathy.

Note: Unfortunately. I must teach a class at exactly the hours of the service with no alternative for the students. Please be so kind to send me your addresses so I can send you each a personal card.
    (pickett.lema@yahoo.com). Thank you
