Christopher (Chris) August Plag
Christopher (Chris) August Plag, 52 passed away on February 29, 2024 in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in 1971 in St. Louis, Missouri. Chris was preceded in death by his loving mother Diane Ellis (nee Weisbrod), his dear Uncle Mel Weisbrod and loving grandparents.
He is survived by his dear sister Jill M. Tienes (nee Plag), niece Alison Tienes, nephew Andrew Tienes, his father Henry Plag, Grandmother Betty Plag and a number of special aunts, uncles and numerous friends.
Chris had a passion for landscaping and hardscaping for many years. He constructed many special projects for his clients over his 25 years in the landscaping business. He took great pride that his house in Woodson Terrace, Missouri was awarded yard of the year many times. He also loved anything outdoors, including grilling, fishing and boating. As a child, he loved model railroading with his late Grandfather, Russell Weisbrod. They would spend hours in Russell’s basement painting figurines and trains, molding backgrounds and setting up the tracks.
Chris was a fervent St. Louis Blues fan for years and he was finally rewarded to see them win the Stanley Cup in 2019.
Chris was a simple man who worked hard but played harder. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
