Donald DeVore
Donald DeVore of St. Louis, MO, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. He was born on September 17, 1956, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Olaf and Elizabeth “Betty” (nee: Lepper) DeVore. Don had reached the age of 67 years.
Don attended and graduated from Washington High School, Washington, MO, in 1974. He worked at Hazel, Inc., in Washington, MO, for 15 years, until he moved to St. Louis, MO.
Don loved listening to country music; his favorite country singer was Loretta Lynn. He liked to dance, and he cherished time spent with family and friends.
He is survived by one son, Travis DeVore; one grandson, Phoenyx DeVore; three brothers, Thomas (Darlene) DeVore, Michael Tim DeVore, and twin brother Ronald DeVore; one sister, Gail Morris; sister-in-law, Robbin DeVore; very special friends, Bob & Peggy Lewis; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Olaf and Elizabeth DeVore; one son, David Allen DeVore; one infant sister; one half-brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Hazel DeVore; one brother, Kenneth DeVore; one sister-in-law, Arlene DeVore; and one brother-in-law, Lloyd Morris.
Visitation will be at St. Paul’s UCC, Marthasville, MO, Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 10am-12pm, with a funeral service at 12pm, and an internment immediately following at St.Paul’s UCC Cemetery. Memorial donations can be given to St. Paul’s UCC or St. Paul’s UCC Cemetery, 103 S. Second St., Marthasville, MO, 63357, or donor’s choice.
