Rick Devlin
Richard “Rick” Joseph Devlin passed away peacefully at the age of 66 on May 5, 2024, with his son and daughter by his side. He was born on February 12, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Karen, son Eric, and granddaughter Audrey.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Shannon (James), son Ryan (Madeleine), grandchildren Callum and Reese, brother Michael (Trish) and sister Patricia (Mike), as well as his nieces and nephew, family and friends.
He made wicked good barbecue, had an unfailing sense of humor, cheered loudly for his team, and always answered the call of his family and friends.
This picture of Rick captures my perception of him perfectly: energetic, kind, happy, smiling, and laughing. Rick was a work colleague. He always had a good answer. He will be missed. My condolences to the family.
I worked for him for 3 years. Great man with a good sense of humor.
Although I did not know him personally, I do know Ryan. He had to be a great man to instill such values into his children that are reflected from them. My sincere condolences to the family for your loss!
I worked with Rick at JANNX since 1988, and continued communicating after his retirement. He always wanted to do the right thing, was always positive, and exhibited strong family ties and in his religious faith. We shared a lot of experience together, both at work and in personal life. I’m deeply saden in his passing. He will be truly missed. My heart goes out to his family. I know he is saden to leave his remaining family on earth, but back with his soulmate – Karen and son Eric.
God Bless
