Paul Joseph Kluba
May 23rd, 1964 – May 9th, 2024
KLUBA, Paul Joseph, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the age of 83 in St. Louis, MO. He was born in St. Louis on Dec. 20, 1940, the first son to Paul Marcelinius and Mary Virginia Kluba (nee Mruzik.) He was married to Beverly Ann Vogel on May 23, 1964. Together, they raised four children: Paul A. Kluba (Lisa), Anne M. Oller (David), Robert J. Kluba (Renee), and John A. Kluba. His legacy includes an extended family that will miss him as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.
He was a Dear brother to Terry Ramsbottom (Nile), Denis Kluba (Karen), Joanne Kluba, and Jan Hawn (Jim); Dear grandfather of Sara & Casey Mason, Stefanie Kluba, Samuel & Andrea Kluba, Sydney Kluba, Sophie Kluba, Spencer Kluba, Nathan & Amanda Oller, Benjamin Oller, Shawn Harper & Kristen Snodgrass, Wyatt & Emily Kluba, Hannah Kluba, Paige Kluba, and Griffin Kluba. Dear great-grandfather of Aliyah, Addison & Audrey Lorenson, Joshua Harper, and Joel Mason. He was a Dear uncle, cousin, and friend.
Paul was baptized into the Roman Catholic Church, confirmed in his faith, and honored as a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Paul was a heartfelt supporter of the U.S. military, serving four years as an Army reservist. Paul and Beverly raised their family at St. Francis of Assisi in Oakville. Paul built a career in Commercial Construction Management, having attained his undergraduate degree at St. Louis University and an MBA from Webster University. Paul and Beverly maintained contact with high school friends who shared his love for playing cards, dominos, historic cars, Doo-wop 50’s and 60’s music, Cardinals baseball, and Mexican food. After retirement, they were active seniors who loved traveling, attended Queen of All Saints parish, and often dined with great friends. He will forever be remembered for his love and loyalty to family, his Catholic faith, and his delightful sense of humor.
As his parents before him, his “Gift of Body” to Saint Louis University’s Medical School will allow training for future doctors. Eventually, his remains will be cremated and buried at the University Plot at Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery.
