Jimmy Dale Mitchell
Jimmy Dale Mitchell, lovingly known as “Chap,” passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 57. He was born on December 11, 1966, in Farmington, MO, and most recently resided in Florissant, MO. Jimmy was a man of simple pleasures and had a deep love for his family, children, and God.
Growing up, Jimmy developed a fondness for music, with Guns N Roses being one of his favorite bands. He also enjoyed watching sports, particularly baseball, rooting for his beloved Cardinals, and hockey, supporting the Blues.
Jimmy cherished his lifelong friendship with Donald Lewis, as they shared countless memories and experiences over their 50 years of friendship. He was affectionately called “Chap” by those closest to him.
Professionally, Jimmy found fulfillment in tree work. He believed in the principle that “For every action, there is a reaction,” and applied this motto to his work and personal life.
One of Jimmy’s proudest accomplishments was being a dedicated father. He is survived by his son, Caleb David Mitchell, and his daughter, MacKenzie Mae Mitchell. He was married to his loving wife, Frankie Lin Mitchell, on March 21, 1992.
Throughout his life, Jimmy brought joy and laughter to those around him. He had an infectious sense of humor that kept people smiling. His impact on others’ lives will be remembered fondly.
Jimmy held strong to his Baptist faith, finding solace and guidance in his religious beliefs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Frank Mitchell and Betty Mitchell, his siblings Camille Mitchell, David Mitchell, Carla Jo Pfeffer Mitchell, Constance (Connie) Gott, Cathy McCabe, Lora Inthaluexay, and Thomas Mitchell, as well as his daughter, Olivia Louise Mitchell.
In addition to his immediate family, Jimmy leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were dear to his heart.
Jimmy Dale Mitchell will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Jimmy we has our problems as all couples do, I love you with all my heart and thank you for my 2 beautiful children. Until we meet again.
