Karen had such a quiet strength and a light in darkness. She spoke little of her accomplishments but she had many. Our lives are blessed to have met her and shared children and grandchildren. Your spirit will live on through those who knew you best.
I feel totally blessed to have been able to say Karen was my friend for 40+ years. She was my mentor when I returned to work after stepping away for over ten years. She was kind, gentle and loving. Always there to help anyone and had a wonderful sense of humor. We considered her family. She will be missed. Her loved ones are in our thoughts & prayers.
Much love,
Wilma Heflin
You will be missed more than you could ever know. Thank you for all the love and support growing up and for being there for us. We’ll always remember the fun times, especially those times you spent with the girls. Love you always, Mom.
Karen was a true disciple of Jesus Christ in that she lived what she believed. She served our congregation and community without need for reward or praise. She served quietly and peacefully. I never heard a negative comment from her about anyone or anything. She overcame the attack of cancer numerous times over a period of more than six years. Her strength and determination was in large measure due to her love of her family. She has provided her sisters and brothers a living testimony of love and grace.
Karen was a lovely individual, a cherished friend, and colleague. All of us at Coldwell Banker Reeves will always remember her giving spirit and her sweet smile. She will be sorely missed. – Rachel & the CBR team
Eric and Jen- I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember your mother fondly from our youth. God rest her soul.
In the short amount of time I had to know Karen, she welcomed me into the family like I had always been apart of it. I’m grateful for her kindness, warm heart, and the stories she shared. We’ll miss you bunches, Karen.
