Barbara Susan James, 66, of Bismarck MO, passed away May 28, 2024. 

Barbara was born in Rahway, NJ on November 23,1957, to Raymond Freeman and Mary Kabis Freeman. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to many.

Barbara was preceded in death by Raymond Freeman-Father, Mary Kabis Freeman-Mother, Donald James-Husband, Leroy Freeman-Half-brother,  David Daily(Victor Kabis)-Half-brother, Margeret Meier-Sister, Mary Carol Craig-Sister Janice Freeman-Sister, Joan Freeman-Sister, and survived by Donna Adams-Sister, Thomas Barton Freeman-Brother, Kimberly Collier-Daughter, Michele Carpenter-Daughter, Khristina Stowers-Daughter and 13 grandchildren, Chelsey, Dustin, Austin, Raymond, Joshua, Kaetlyn, Jewelly, Andrew, Mary, Trever, Trista, Dayton, Christopher, 4 great grandchildren, with one on the way, Donald, Alivia, Amelia and Toby.

Barbara was known for her hearty laugh and kind heart. She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed.

At Barbara’s request, there will be no services, but we will hold a Celebration of Life during the summer.
