2/20/1972 – 5/24/2024 

St. Louis, MO – On February 20th, 1972, Frank Muholland Jr. (52) was born to Frank Sr. and Christine Mulholland (Welsch) in Danville, IL. His parents preceded him in death.  

Frank went to Holy Family Grade School and Schlarman Academy. After high school, Frank attended Southern Illinois University – Carbondale for his undergraduate years. Frank went on to obtain a juris doctorate degree from the University of Illinois and graduated from there in 2001.  

In 2008, Frank married Molly (Humrichous) Mulholland. Together they share two children, Vivian and Frankie. As a family, they enjoyed spending time together, seeing live music, exploring the outdoors, and sharing laughter. His children especially enjoyed a trip to Chicago that the family took in 2023.  

On October 6th, 2016 while rounding the bases after hitting a triple, Frank suffered a massive heart attack that lead to a subsequent stroke that left his heart weak and his body partially paralyzed. For the next eight years of his life, Frank fought hard and was able to spend a great deal of time with Molly, and the kids. He adored the life they created and cherished each day.  

Frank was one of five siblings. He leaves behind Melissa (Towner) Clark, Royce Mulholland, Mary (John) Mason and Natalie Mulholland. Frank was an Uncle to Candice (Travis) Alms, Christopher Clark, Sam Clark, Ariel Cravens, Jason Cravens, Zoey Mulholland, Jada Mulholland, Maggie Mason and had one great-niece Vaida Alms. Frank had built a unique relationship with each member of his family. He loved them dearly and he will always be missed when they gather.  

Frank was remarkably intelligent and had untouchable wit. He was always looking to expand or change his mind. He loved big ideas and new ways to look at something. He took alternative routes and was an excellent leader. He encouraged others to think deeply.  

Frank worked hard every day to be the best father and husband that he possibly could. His wisdom, impeccable taste in music, athleticism, generous heart, and intense love for his family and friends, will be missed by all that were fortunate to know him. He will never be forgotten.  

A Celebration of Life Service will occur in St. Louis, MO, on Tuesday June 18th, from 4PM to 6PM. The service will be held in the Piper Palm House (4256 Magnolia Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110) on the north side of Tower Grove Park. Loved ones are invited to bring their memories and stories of Frank.
