Francis Charlton Mills passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12th at St. Louis University Hospital. Frank was born November 8, 1938, to Benjamin and Gertrude Mills in Florence, South Carolina. He married Gayle Kathryn Mills (St. Louis, MO) on November 10, 1959. He served Honorably in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1966. 

He is preceded by his son Michael Randleson Mills (St. Louis, MO), brothers, Benjamin (Evelyn) (Florence, SC) Wayne (Connie) (Topeka, KS), Johnny (Evelena) (Florence, SC). Nephew, Edward (Abby) (Florence, SC).

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Gayle Mills, children Darren Mills (Monique) (San Francisco, CA), Daniel Mills (Alexis) (St. Louis, MO), Erin Mills (St. Louis, MO), Mary Lynn Peterson (Mills) (John), (St. Louis, MO).  Edward (Abby) (Florence, SC).

Grandchildren, Shelby Kathryn Ann Mills (Brookville, OH), Sheldon Wright Jr. (St. Louis, MO), Xavier and Xander Mills (St. Louis, MO), Jordan Richards (St. Louis, MO) John Daniel Peterson (Elizabeth) (Mobile, AL), Shannon Peterson (St. Louis, MO).

Great Grand Children Madilyn Mills (Brookville, OH), John Henry Peterson (Mobile, AL).

His best friend for over 60 years John Wagner and his wife Mary who passed on the same day.
