Joann Decker (nee Harness)
Joann Decker (nee Harness) passed away peacefully at Sunrise of Des Peres on August 31, 2024 at the age of 86.
Joann was born in Saint Louis, Missouri to Emory and Mary Alice Harness (nee Casteel).
She is predeceased by her husband Richard H. Decker and daughter Terri Marie.
Joann will be lovingly remembered by her family and many friends.
Vicki (Jeff) Smith and Nanci (John) Danner; grandchildren Steve (Jennifer); Mary and Megan (Tim). Great grandchildren Samantha, Elizabeth, Kalie, Michael, Joseph and Carissa. Great great grandchild Joseph.
Jacki Decker Breece; grandchildren Danielle (Eric), Nicole, Katelyn (Jason); great grandchildren Natalie and Caden.
Lauri (Brian) Westphal; grandchildren Ryan (Charlotte), Nicholas (Annalise) and great grandchild Cleo Marie.
A Catholic Mass will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Assumption Church and the interment will be at the Mt. Olive Catholic Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mercy South Hospice and the Parkinson’s Foundation.
Mom Decker was a character.very funny n talkative.would come in the store n we would chat about a little bit of everything.Loved her family n grandkids n friends.she will be missed by all who knew her.may she rest in peace.
