Birdella Schnurbusch (nee Buerck) went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ early morning on August 27, 2024 at the age of 90.

Birdella was born in Biehle, Missouri to Rudolph and Bertha Buerck (nee Baer). She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Schurbusch and daughter Joann Schnurbusch.

Birdella is lovingly remembered by her children, Karen Sinak, Denise (Dave) Pagard, Terry Schnurbusch, Tom (Tina) Schnurbusch, Joe Schnurbusch, her grandchildren, Joe (Kim) Sinak Jr, Michele (Tony Deuser) Sinak, Jake (Danielle) Steese, Carter Nault, Andrew Schnurbusch, her great-grandchildren Joseph the 3rd, McKenna, Benjamin, Austin Sinak, Alex Sinak, AJ Deuser, Renley Steese, Olivia Steese and her great-great grandchildren, Sierra Sinak and Bryson Sinak.

Birdella (often called Birdie or Bea), was an excellent mother and homemaker and enjoyed sewing and cooking, playing games and watching her beloved Cardinals baseball games. She had a great sense of humor and a bit of sass and was a good friend, spouse, aunt and sister to all who knew her.

Birdella’s siblings and families (7 brothers, 2 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews) made arrangements for masses to be offered in remembrance of Birdella. A private ceremony and celebration of life among immediate family members will take place in the near future.
