Elaine Janice Pipkin (nee) Maag

Elaine Janice Pipkin (nee) Maag passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2024 at the age of 72. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 15, 1952. Predeceased by her father, Walter Maag and mother, Edna Maag and sister, Carolyn Curth.

Survived by her loving husband of 50 years Michael J. Pipkin.

Lovingly remembered by daughters; Jennifer Pipkin (Bonnie Skrenta) and Kellan Johansen (Lars Johansen). Grandchildren: Nathan Skrenta Pipkin, Nora Skrenta Pipkin, Finley Johansen and Sawyer Johansen. Siblings; Walter Maag (Sharon Maag), Lois Maag (Bill Stokes), Marlene Waldschmidt (Bill), niece Cassie Maag and loving cousins.

Elaine worked as a registered nurse and administrator. Her hobbies included Pickleball and various crafts.

Elaine was a devoted grandmother who adored her 4 grandchildren. She loved going to their school activities and sports. The pride she displayed for their accomplishments was evident as she discussed their success with others.

Elaine was close to her daughters and spent a lot of time with them. They took trips together and shopped everywhere they went. She absolutely loved the discussions they would have. Elaine was absolutely delighted with the families they nurtured and the time they spent together.

Elaine was a kind, caring and compassionate person who put others before herself. The grace she gave to others is her legacy.

The cornerstone of her life was her faith and unconditional love and support in all aspects of her life. She impacted so many lives in both her nursing career, friendship and family.

Elaine radiated beauty in both her appearance and her soul.

She will be forever missed.
