Kristi will be missed by so many. There was nothing she loved and enjoyed more than her grandchildren. Her niece, Beth, spent long hours over the past year caring for her and spending time with her. Beth showed her all the compassion that one deserves in the last moments of their life and she truly has one of the biggest hearts. Kristi’s son, Jacob spent the better part of his life with his mother and helping her through many medical and emotional instabilities. She often referred to him as her “sunshine in the darkness” due to many attempts to have a child, she finally got her one and only. She sang “My only Sunshine” to him often as a child. Kristi’s passions also included crime tv shows and nature documentaries, 70s rock music, her chubby cat Piper and her many dogs over the years. She absolutely loved baking cookies for her entire family every christmas( she would spend months preparing), nothing excited her more than an upcoming Gebel family event. She treasured her late boyfriend Steve and her late brother Mike. She loved to reminisce about her time living and working in vegas, her career in property management, and her motorcycle riding days. Kristi loved the color turquoise, daises were her favorite flower, and she loved pretty much anything with a sun on it. She was a beautiful and strong woman who fought an internal battle for many years to stay positive and now she can rest peacefully. Kristi Marie Gebel Curtis. ❤️
