Evelyn Sue (Curry) Gustason passed on September 15, 2024 at Delmar Gardens, Chesterfield, MO.

Born December 31, 1945, to Gilford M. Curry and Wilma Marie (Holst) Curry in Dunnegan, MO. Evelyn attended elementary school in Fair Play, MO, until her family moved to Springfield. She was a graduate of Central High School in Springfield, MO, Class of 1963. Evelyn was a homemaker during her children’s younger years, then became a private home health caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Glenn Gustason (Hollister, MO); brother, Charles Curry (Springfield, MO); and sisters, Jean Simmons (Springfield, MO) and Peggy Currie (Springfield, MO).

Survivors include her sister, Joyce Davolt (Max) of Fair Play, MO; sister-in-law, Carolyn Gustason McLaren (John) of Springdale, AR; sister-in-law, Bonnie Curry Huffman of Springfield, MO; son, James Gustason of Springfield, MO; daughter, Aimee Butler (Michael Sr.) of Eureka, MO; grandson, Michael Butler Jr.; and granddaughter, Madisen Butler, both of Eureka, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children on both sides of the family.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at Plum Grove Cemetery in Humansville, MO @ 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Plum Grove Cemetery, Attention: Mr. Max Davolt, 405 West Sunrise, Fair Play, MO 65649.
