Denise M. Lemonds

Denise M. Lemonds passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital Jefferson on November 4th, 2024 at the age of 66. She was born in St. Louis, MO on December 6th, 1957.

Preceeded in death by Anna Lee Cline (mother), Dean Elgin Cline (father) and grandson, Gunner Christopher Miller.

Survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Michael Allen Lemonds.

Lovingly remembered by Husband, Michael Allen Lemonds, her 5 children, Kelly Marie Hawkins (daughter), Joshua Dean Harp (son), Selena Lauren Harp (daughter), Kristina Naomi Mercer (daughter), Kelsey Elaine McKinney (daughter). Denise had a passion for animals, and loved to spend time with her pets, whom she adopted from local shelters. She never knew a stray, and would always take care of any animal in need.

She loved spending time with her children and grandkids. They were her whole world.

She enjoyed gardening, and took pride in her vegetable and flower gardens, and, of course, feeding the birds.

When she wasn’t gardening, she loved playing her video games. And could often be found enjoying her XBOX.

Denise was a religious woman and loved God. She enjoyed reading her Bible, watching and listening to her sermons, and gospel music.

She enjoyed family history, and often spent time tracing heritage as far back as she could.

She never hesitated when a friend was in need, and always enjoyed talking to her close neighbors and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Denise will be held in late Spring down in Alton, MO.
