Kathy Ann Neiger

Kathy Ann Neiger, 68, passed away on September 26, 2024, in St. Louis, MO,

surrounded by family and loved ones.

 

Born on November 16, 1955, Kathy graduated from South County Tech, marking the

beginning of a life characterized by devotion to her family, God and community.

 

Kathy was a loving wife to Don Neiger for 33 years and a cherished mother,

mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her husband, Don;

children, Craig Wertheimer, Scott Wertheimer (Joni), and Wendy Durham (Richard);

grandchildren, Sabrina Vollmer (Jared), Christine Wertheimer, Jacob (Ashley)

Wertheimer, Landon Durham, Parker Durham, and Felix Wertheimer; siblings, Michael

Turek Sr. (Geri), Janice Sharamitaro (Mike), and Barbara Bauer; as well as in-laws,

Douglas Neiger (Stephanie) and Laurie McKinnon (Thomas).

 

Kathy was a pillar of strength and love within her family. Her passion for life was evident

in her unwavering support at her grandchildren’s soccer games and her joy in playing

cards and spending time with friends and family. Kathy’s culinary skills were legendary

among her loved ones, especially during family gatherings where she loved to share her

baked goods.

 

A devout member of Spring Hills Presbyterian Church in House Springs, MO, Kathy’s

faith was a significant aspect of her life. She found great solace and strength in her

spirituality, often praying for her friends and loved ones.

 

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at The High Ridge Elks Lodge, located at 2808

Old Hunning Rd, High Ridge, MO 63049, on November 16, 2024, from 2pm to 5pm.

Kathy’s legacy of love, compassion, and community will be remembered and cherished

by all who knew her.
