Irene passed away peacefully at Evelyn’s House on November 14, 2024 at age 96.5.

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 7, 1928.

Irene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred Snyder, parents Ray and Irene Weiss, brother Ray Weiss Jr. and many family and friends.

Lovingly remembered by son Thomas Snyder, daughter Renee Renna (Paul), granddaughter Stesha Renna Karim (Haidar), sisters Margie Rosenkoetter, Marian Huenke, Janice Lee (Rich) and many nieces and nephews.

 Irene was a stay-at-home mom and later worked for USDA, Farmers Home Administration. She liked to garden, paint, take art classes, visit Shaw’s Garden, and travel. Her favorite destination was Kauai.

Irene was known for her willingness to pray for anyone who asked. 

Her memorial mass is on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at 

Immaculate Heart of Mary Church
