Geraldine “Geri” Zobel was born June 25, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Roosevelt High School. She received a B.A. degree from Fontbonne College, a Masters degree in human resources from Washington University, and a Masters degree in art therapy from Southern Illinois University. 

Geri was an accomplished still life and spiritual painter. She taught art at Wydown Junior High School and art education at Fontbonne College. She also ran her own interior design business. She was proudest of her work at St. John’s Hospital as an art therapist to adolescents in crisis. 

She was predeceased by her son, Gordon Zobel (Julie). She is survived by her sons Conrad (Joni) and Craig Zobel (Linda), and her daughter Annette Zobel (Bryan Hettenbach). Her three grandchildren are David Zobel, Megan Zobel-Schneider, and Christine Zobel. She has seven great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from 10.00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at
