John E. Butcher, 82, of Fenton, Mo passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at his home in Fenton, Mo.

John was born June 10, 1942 in Webster Groves, Mo to William J. Butcher and Melba V. (Loyd) Butcher. John is survived by his beloved wife Neva (formerly Hendrickson), married on May 7, 1988.

In addition to his wife Neva (née Barr) Butcher, he is survived by daughters Sherry (Walton) Hays,  and Alisa (Walton) Boyher and son Jeffrey Walton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler Boyher, Kate Boyher, and Lee Boyher and great grandchildren, Eli Boyher, Liam Boyher, and Mila Boyher.

He is survived by his sister, Joyce Butcher Peery, and her nieces Judy Wilson Moran, Julia Wilson, and Janice Peery Litton.

John is preceded in death by his parents William J. and Melba V. Butcher.

To all friends and family, a memorial service for John Butcher will be held at First Baptist Church Arnold, 2012 Missouri State Road, Arnold, Mo 63010.

A visitation will start at 11 am with the service to begin at 12 noon.
