Betty Yvonne DeLucia
Betty Yvonne DeLucia (nee) Wiegers passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025 at the age of 85.
She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 8, 1939.
Predeceased by her husband of 40 years Charles, Cosmo DeLucia.
Lovingly remembered by her daughter Karin DeLucia, son Erik DeLucia & grandson Joshua Sullins.
Betty was a graduate of Cleveland High School Class of 1957.
Betty retired from May Department stores in 1996.
I met Betty when we worked together at May Department Stores. We became good friends and had a lot of fun together. Betty was funny and witty. She was always ready for a visit, a little adventure (we would visit the local wineries to enjoy lunch, a glass of wine together and the often-awesome views at the wineries or we’d go to the “Hill” for a super Italian lunch). She was an avid animal lover and especially loved dogs. I will miss her warm, gentle smiles, the many laughs and good times we shared and our always super-special visits. May you rest in peace, Betty. I love you.
