In Loving Memory of JoAnn Dorsey
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of JoAnn Dorsey, a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth and cherished memories.
JoAnn was the beloved wife of Donald Dorsey, with whom she shared a life time of love and partnership.  She was a treasured sister to Mary Allscheid and her husband, Ken, whose bond she deeply cherished.
As a mother, JoAnn was a guiding light to her children:  Barb Matern, Susan Gilmore, David Dorsey (Dawn), and Kathy Hutton (Dean).  She nurtured her family with unconditional love and was a constant source of encouragement and strength.
JoAnn’s pride and joy extended to her grandchildren:  Valerie and Noah Gilmore, Justin Hutton, Brooke Farris (Caleb), and Drew Ann Dorsey.  She celebrated each of their milestones with boundless joy and enthusiasm.  Her legacy continued to grow with the addition of her great-grandchild, River Farris, whose presence brought her immense happiness.
JoAnn’s gentle spirit, unwavering love, and selflessness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.  She lived a life filled with faith, compassion, and dedication to her family, serving as an inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to share in her journey.
A celebration of JoAnn’s life will be held January 29, 2025, at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church, 11011 Mueller Road, St. Louis, MO  63123, 9:00 am – 10:00 am visitation; 10:00 – 10:45 – mass; 11:15 burial at JB then back to St. Simon for luncheon.
JoAnn Dorsey will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.  Her love will continue to shine through the lives of her family and friends.
