Patricia Klein
Patricia Ann “Patty” Klein, born September 21, 1940, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Lucille (Vriski)
Peeper and Charles Henry Peeper, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025.
Patricia graduated from Ladue High School before continuing her education at Southwest
Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, and then completing her degree at William Jewell College
in Liberty, Missouri. On August 14,1974 she married the love of her life William Joseph Klein.
Their union spanned over 50 years filled with love and devotion.
A dedicated educator, Patricia began her career as an elementary school teacher at various
inner-city schools before serving as an Admissions Counselor for Drury University totaling over
two decades in the field of education. Later in life, she chose to focus on her family as a stay-
at-home mother for her youngest. Patricia also gave back to her community through her
involvement with the Brentwood School Board and other volunteer and charitable efforts. A
lifelong church member, she found a special joy in faith and service.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Lucille, and her brother Dick. She is
lovingly remembered by her husband Bill; son Mark(Lora) and grandson Cole; daughter Mary
Elizabeth and grandchildren Carter, Campbell, Cabot and Curtis; son Michael(Molly) and
grandchildren Juliette, Bennett, and Lleyton; as well as her brother Gene and sister Nancy.
Known affectionally as “Patty” by those closest to her, Patricia will be remembered for her
unfiltered sense of humor, unwavering dedication to family, friends and community. Her warmth
and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
May Patricia’s memory bring comfort to all who loved her as they celebrate a life so beautifully
lived.
There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony held on Saturday, March 8 from 11:00am to
1:00pm at Parkway UCC, 2841 N Ballas Road, St. Louis, MO 63131, (314)872-9330.
By 64/40 and 270—just south of Missouri Baptist Hospital and north of Clayton
