Lucas Daniel Eding
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Lucas Daniel Eding, who left this world on January 31st, 2025, at just 17 months old. Born on August 10th, 2023, Luke was a ray of sunshine who filled our lives with boundless joy and love.
Luke had an infectious smile that could brighten even the darkest days. He loved kicking around his soccer ball, dancing along to music, and exploring the world with wide-eyed wonder. His happiest moments were spent in the arms of his parents and playing with his big sister Amelia, who adored being silly with him.
Though his time with us was far too short, Luke’s impact was profound. He taught us the true meaning of unconditional love and reminded us to cherish every fleeting moment. His memory will forever live in the hearts of his parents, Lisa and Dan Eding; his big sister Amelia Eding; grandparents Nancy Eding, Dave Eding, and Jeanne Kedro; and all who were blessed to know him.
Luke shared a special connection with animals—his dog Chewie and cat Gabe were his constant companions and brought him endless delight. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Humane Society of Missouri in honor of this bond.
Luke, you will always be our angel. We love you beyond words and miss you beyond measure.

Even though we had Luke for such a short time, he was a bright light in our lives. I remember his birthday when he received so many beautiful gifts—the one he played with immediately was the ball. He loved to play soccer as soon as he could walk.
