September 3rd, 1946 – February 20th, 2025

Eloise, known as Ellie, went home to the Lord peacefully on February 20th at the age of 78. Her parents were Leonard and Florence Matthews and lived in Fenton, MO. Her late husband was Robert Mooney. She had two children: a son, Gregory Cummines of Waconia, Minnesota; and a daughter, Patricia Cummines (deceased). She had one sibling, her brother, Howard Matthews and her sister-in-law, Mary Matthews. Ellie had five grandchildren.

For a number of years, Ellie was lovingly taken care of at Aehnel Rehabilitation in Town and Country, MO. During those years and throughout her life, she was quite a remarkably good piano player. She truly enjoyed entertaining people by playing familiar songs and Christmas Carols.
