John was born in Peoria, Illinois on May 9, 1919 and passed away on February 8, 2011 at the age of 91.

John is the beloved husband of Wilma, whom he was married to for 69 happy years. Together they had one son and three daughters, Mary Ann (Rich) Black, Bob (Janice) Kinsella, Betty (Howard) Moellering and Sherry (Dan) Martin. He was the proud grandfather of Karen Kinsella, Kori (Derrick) Brown, Kristen (JP) Ruth, Jeff (Ann) Moellering, Melinda Moellering, Danny (Lauren) Martin, PJ (Jackie) Martin, Julie Martin and Amy Martin. He was also lucky enough to welcome 4 great-grandchildren into the world, Summer (Moellering) Hock, Molly Brown, Rebekah Brown and Kieffer Moellering. He has one surviving brother-Rich Kinsella, and sister-Babe Altmann.

John retired from Western Electric after 40 years and was a huge Cardinals fan. He donated his body to the St. Louis University School of Medicine.

Services: There will be a memorial mass for John on Saturday, Feb. 26th at 1:00 pm at the St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church on Clayton Road. In leiu of flowers, masses or donations to a favorite charity are preferred.
