It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Arlene Nash on February 28, 2025, in Imperial, Missouri. Born on November 5, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, Nancy was a loving wife, beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose presence deeply impacted the lives of those who knew her throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Arlene (Woodrome) Lincoln, & her Brother Michael Short & her sister Kelly Lincoln, along with her husband Robert Nash. She is survived by her loving children, Jennifer (Nash) & Jim O’Neill, Robert & Katie (Snyder) Nash, Steven & Jessica (Palmer) Nash; her grandchildren, Madelyn (O’Neill) & David Emmons, Jaime O’Neill, Gillian (O’Neill) & Matthew Florek, Alyssa O’Neill, Owen Nash, Nova Nash, Coda Nash; her great grandchildren, Jaxon Emmons and Brooklyn Emmons.

She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Nash and embarked on a career in the service industry, starting as a waitress and working at various restaurants and nightclubs. She later transitioned into bartending and restaurant management, showcasing her remarkable leadership and people skills. After years of managing multiple establishments, along with catering to several parties, she decided to take a new path and became a baker at The Blue Owl Restaurant & Bakery, where her delicious treats brought joy to many and even cooking for seniors at the senior center at the local rec center. Before retiring she worked in childcare for several years, a role that allowed her to share her nurturing spirit taking care of her great grandchildren and others.

Throughout her life, Nancy found great joy in spending time with her family and friends. Whether it was fishing on the water, trying her luck at the slot machines, or simply enjoying the company of those she loved. Nancy embodied strength, independence, and intelligence, with a fierce, take- charge attitude that left an impact on everyone she encountered. She had a natural ability to comfort others, always dependable and offering a unique, quiet form of being badass. She will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of life with family and friends will be planned at a later date.
