Raymond A. Boisselle

Raymond (Ray) Alfred Boisselle, 85, of Wildwood, MO and formerly of Plaistow, NH died February 28, 2025 at St. Andrew’s at Francis Place in Eureka, Missouri – the same place where the love of his life passed four years prior.

He was born in Haverhill, MA on May 6, 1939, the son of the late Raymond Alfred Boisselle, Sr. and the late Alice Boisselle (Donovan). He and his wife, Annette, were co-owners of Maplewood Florist for 30 years. Ray was the friendly face who delivered Annette’s creations across the region. Before owning Maplewood Florist, Ray was the Manager at Al’s Auto Supply in Andover, MA. He was a hard worker, dedicated to his employees and customers.

Raymond was a devoted husband and caring brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Known for his sharp wit and lighthearted nature, he loved tomake people laugh. He was a loyal Red Sox and Patriots fan, enjoyed a good plate of spaghetti and meatballs, regularly read the “funnies” in the newspaper, and took to
reading thriller and mysteries after retirement.

In 2007, Ray and Annette moved to Missouri to live with their son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. They made many trips to Branson, MO and other nearby locations. Ray’s heart was in New Hampshire, where he will be laid to rest with Annette. He and Annette loved to come back to see their friends and family and visit their favorite spots. He was especially close to his big sister Beverly. After he moved to Missouri, they regularly talked on the phone to stay in touch.

Survivors include two children: Joel Boisselle (Tracy) of Wildwood, MO, and Julie Boisselle (Jim Howard) of Cape Coral, FL; three grandchildren: Samantha Carver (Justin) of Madisonville, TN, Derek Edry (Lindsey) of Manchester, NH, and Jonathan Boisselle of Wildwood, MO; four great-grandchildren: Izabella Goad, Lauryn Goad, Emma Carver, and Silas Carver, all of Madisonville, TN; a sister, Beverly Fournier of Haverhill, MA; and a few other relatives in the New England area.

Services: A memorial service will be held later this year at Maplewood North Parish Cemetery Plaistow, NH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Breakthrough T1D

We would like to extend our gratitude to the kind and loving staff of St. Andrew’s at Francis Place for taking such great care of Ray during his final days.
