Melody Ann Wagner
January 16, 1982 – March 7, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Melody Ann Wagner, who left this world on March 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on January 16, 1982, Melody was a devoted mother, a cherished daughter, a beloved sister, and a dear friend to many.

A resident of Cedar Hill, MO, Melody dedicated her time and heart to her work as a cook and server at Dave’s Diner, where she made many lasting friendships. However, her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving mother to Briana Helton and Corbin Herbst, who will forever carry her love and kindness in their hearts.

She is survived by her children, her mother Tamera Ludwig (Bill) of House Springs, MO, and her siblings: Tammy Klenklen (Kevin) of Joplin, MO, Rob Wagner (Jennifer) of Chanute, KS, Debra Fox (Bryan) of Wentzville, MO, Brandon Ludwig of House Springs, MO, Lewis Ludwig of Nashville, TN, and Travis Ludwig of Florissant, MO. She is also survived by Tony Herbst (Sarah), Corbin’s father

Melody was preceded in death by her love, Tony Helton, who was the father of Briana; her father, Gerald Wagner; and her sister, Brittany Wagner.

Melody had a kind and gentle soul, one that shined through her love for music and singing. She was a devoted mother, a caring aunt, and a true friend to those who were lucky enough to know her. Her laughter, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Sunday, March 23, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at THE HOT SPOT in High Ridge, MO. Friends and family are invited to come together to remember and celebrate the beautiful person she was.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones close and share a song in her memory, just as she would have wanted.

She will forever be in our hearts.
