October 25, 1941 – March 8, 2025

Holt, Karen Ann (Barnes), 83 of St. Louis, Mo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2025, surrounded by loving family.

Beloved wife for 60 years of Forrest L. Holt; dear mother of Craig (Jennifer), Ken (Gidget) and Bill (Laura) Holt; loving grandmother of Andrew, Pepper, Emily, Spencer, Tessa, Chloe, Summer, Anna, Lily and Molly; dear sister of the late Irene (Jim) Hill, the late William R. (Liz) Barnes and the late James S. (Linda) Barnes; loving Aunt of Jim Hill, Linda Montgomery, Kathy Gore, Bill and David Barnes, Jim and Chris Barnes; Laura Skaggs, the late Danna Wilson, Lance Wilson, Doug and Scott Sullivan; and dear friend of many.

Karen was an avid golfer, loved sports and having fun with family and friends, she will be dearly missed. Karen’s family wishes to acknowledge Evelyn’s House for their care.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Evelyn’s House.

Services: Memorial Mass Saturday, March 22, 10 a.m. at St Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Road, Cottleville, Mo.  Karen donated her body to St. Louis University Medical School.
