Kathleen Nagle (nee Gendrick)
December 27, 1934 — January 25, 2025

Kathleen Nagle, 90, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

A student of Rosati-Kain High School and graduate of Incarnate Word Academy, Kathleen was a devout Catholic whose faith guided every aspect of her life and shaped a legacy of love, service, and fierce devotion to family and community. Over the years, she was an active member of St. Sebastian’s, St. Patrick’s, and St. Clare of Assisi parishes. She found great joy in entertaining her family, caring for her friends, colleagues, and neighbors, and always showing up when others needed her—giving generously, never expecting anything in return. Kathleen loved flowers, boating, playing games, and traveling. With warmth, enthusiasm, and an endearing competitive nature, she embraced her family’s passions as her own and brought light to every life she touched.

Kathleen married the love of her life, Leroy Nagle, in 1957, and together they shared 50 beautiful years of marriage. She was the beloved mother of Jeffrey (Debbie) Nagle and Karen (Terry) Kuc, proud grandmother to Matthew (Maryanne) Kuc, Kiersten (James) Randall, and Bridget (Cole) Walters, and adoring great-grandmother to Remington, Ezra, Joseph, and William. She was also a cherished sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend to many. Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband Lee, her parents Ernest and Kathryn Gendrick, and her twin sister Katherine Rowan. We take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with them in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

A visitation will be held from 9:00–9:45 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, 4431 Lindell Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters (Pink Sisters) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
