Shirley Duckworth
Shirley Ann (nee Bode) Duckworth, born February 28, 1932 in St. Louis, passed away suddenly on April 9, 2025. Loving wife of the late Ronald Duckworth. Dear Mother of Craig (Becky Rosteck) Duckworth, Vicki (Robert) Clark, Keith (Mindy) Duckworth, and the late Gary (Jan) Duckworth. Sister of Jane (Gene) Enchelmaier and the late Arthur Bode, Jr. Grandmother of 8 and Great Grandmother of 15.
Visitation will be held from 9 am – 11 am on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracksview Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125. A church service will follow visitation at 11 am.
We are at a loss, as are you, at the passing of Shirley. The great comfort is that although we were taken by surprise, God was not. Please remember, “God is near to the brokenhearted.” Psalm 34:18 We will miss her here at Friendship Village. May the peace that passes understanding guard your heart.
