Mike was a dear friend and will be missed
Mike was a wonderful man! My prayers, condolences, and best wishes for his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
From the time I met him as my sister Carol’s boyfriend, and then later, Husband, I came to appreciate how easy it was to be around him. He always made you feel comfortable and respected when you were around him. A great family man who never faded from those responsibilities. Anyone who knew him was given reason to feel happy to know him or have him as a friend. He will be missed.
Mike was a good guy. And my condolences go out to his family. It’s not surprising to see he worked with NE family for so many years. NE is a special place where people often log 3 or 4 decades before retirement. There are millions of people around the world who live better lives because of what we do there. Mike was an important part of that effort. We all will miss him.
Mike was always cheery. He never wanted us to feel sorry for him. Even when we knew he was in pain. When they moved from Arizona, that was a very sad day for Don and I. When I would call Carol, Mike always want to talk to us. We had many happy hours on our patio. He will for sure be missed.
We offer our most sincere condolences on the loss of your loving husband and proud father of his three boys (now men).
I first met Mike at the Eriksen office in Tulsa prior to your move to St. Louis and the establishment of Nooter/Eriksen. It was a pleasure meeting Mike then and even more of a pleasure working directly with him the many years after. The pleasure continued into a lasting friendship with Mike, Carol and the boys.
I thanked the Grill family for hosting a retirement party for me at your home with some of our coworkers from N/E and need to thank you all again. It was a most enjoyable evening!
We also had the pleasure of your visit to see us after we moved to Florida. Another good time!
Mike will be truly missed and remembered!
God bless all!
He is/was our brother-in-law.
We loved him dearly.
I picture him in Heaven sitting with
Jesus surrounded by his family and
Friends who greeted him there.
Jesus Wept for our loss
But is so happy to see him.
Love you Mike ❤️‼️
I learned of Mike’s passing tonight and was saddened to hear the news. I was one of the lucky ones who was blessed to call on him for some of his years at N/E until he retired. He was always fair to me and greeted me with a smile and a hand shake, no matter the circumstances. Blessings to all of the Grill family during this difficult time. Heaven has gained a good man.
