Margaret Ott
Margaret Paterson Ott passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2011.
Born August 6, 1947. Beloved wife of Joseph Ott; dear mother of Michelle Grotts (John); daughter of Charles and Rosemary Paterson who passed before, and daughter-in-law of Elizabeth Ott; treasured sister of Charles Paterson (Sue Hagedorn), Mary Hinze, Johanna Paterson, John Paterson (Christina), and Patrick Paterson (Susan); wonderful aunt and great-aunt to many, and friend to many more.
Maggie graduated from Saint Joseph’s Academy in Saint Louis and went on to achieve bachelor degrees from Saint Louis University in nursing and sociology. She worked as a registered nurse at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, the Visiting Nurse Association in Saint Louis, the St. Louis VA Medical Center – Jefferson Barracks Division, Alexian Brothers Hospital in Saint Louis, Hospice and Palliative Care of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Pathways Community Hospice in Saint Louis. She loved being with her co-workers and patients every day. Her special passion has always been for her family and dear friends.
Services: Memorial service will be held Friday, April 15 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 5020 Rhodes Avenue, Saint Louis, MO at 11 a.m. Friends and family will gather after the service.
