He then went on to attend The University Jorge Tadeo Lozano for architecture and worked for the city of Cartagena Department of Trash Collection in payroll. In 1981, he and his future wife were given the thumbs up to come to the United States with a resident visa, eventually becoming a proud citizen in 2011. His first job was as a weaver at The Worcester Textile Company in North Providence, RI until the company shut down in 1999. In 2000, he went on to work at UVEX, later known as Honeywell in Smithfield, RI. He worked here until he retired in 2020.
Angel loved all things Boston Red Sox, soccer, good food, fishing, scuba diving, fancy watches and anything to do with his grandchildren or late grand dog, Albi. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Delia Daza Colorado, his daughter Delia Messing and son in law Brian Messing, grandchildren Jacob and Zofia, and his siblings, Yvonne, Karen and Herman.

Que descanse en paz .
