Marilyn Zoe Molkenbur (née Metz), 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Born on December 22, 1942, Marilyn lived a life filled with creativity and love for her family and community. She found joy in her passions, which included gardening, painting, and cooking. Her baking was particularly cherished, especially her annual tradition of making Christmas cookies for the Maryland Heights Fire Protection District and the Pattonville Fire Protection District, a gesture that brought smiles to many. Marilyn also shared her artistic talents by teaching painting classes, inspiring others to explore their creativity.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David, her parents, and two sisters. She is lovingly remembered by her son, John, and his wife, Crystal; her daughter, Stephanie; and her adoring grandchildren, Ethan, Mackenzie, and Justin.

Per Marilyn’s wishes, no funeral or memorial services will be held. She will be entombed at Jefferson Barracks alongside her husband, David.
