Phyllis Lee Oberkramer Camden

March 18, 1941 – July 15, 2025

Phyllis Lee (Camden) Oberkramer, born on March 18, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 15, 2025, at the age of 84 in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Phyllis was a kind and gentle soul whose warmth and quiet strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her generous spirit, compassionate heart, and unforgettable laughter will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her loving son, John (Oberkramer) Arnold, and his husband, Adam Arnold. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ed Oberkramer, who passed away on May 15, 1989.

Phyllis was a devoted grandmother to Jeff Oberkramer Jr., Latasha Cunningham, Nathan Oberkramer, and Blake Oberkramer. She is also survived by her dear sister, Pat May; niece, Pam (Pau) Peterson; and great-niece and nephew, Madalyn and Nicholas Peterson.

Phyllis lived her life with grace, humor, and quiet resilience. She found joy in the simple things and always made others feel seen and loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Gathering, 2360 McCausland Ave., St. Louis, MO 63143, on Saturday, August 9th at 11:00 a.m.

Food and drinks will follow the service at Just John, 4112 Manchester Ave

    She was a very kind, sweet, Funny, and very pretty lady. She will be missed by a lot of people. She used to be a really good neighbor in Dogtown on Louisville Ave.

    My heart hurts for Pat & the rest of her family😢I loved watching Phyllis, Pat & Jean dance at the Hideaway. What great sisters they were I’ll truly miss her🙏🙏
