In Loving Memory of Jessica Renee Terhune
August 8, 1987 – July 12, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jessica Renee Terhune, who departed this world on July 12, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, at the age of 37.

Born on August 8, 1987 in Springfield, Illinois, Jessica brought joy, light, and laughter to all who knew her. She was a devoted mother, a caring daughter, a loyal friend, and a vibrant soul whose presence made every gathering brighter.

Jessica was preceded in death by her loving father Robert Terhune and sister Jacqueline Daugherty (Terhune). She is survived by her beloved children, Riley Biggers (16) and Kannon Hulcher (12), who were the light of her life. Her memory will also be cherished by her mother Julie, her step-son James Owen, her treasured Nana Alix, and her devoted boyfriend Drew. Jessica leaves behind a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends and coworkers who were touched by her warmth, humor, and generous spirit.

Jessica worked as a server, where her outgoing nature and infectious smile made everyone feel welcome. She had a passion for traveling to beach destinations, cooking delicious meals, camping under the stars, and celebrating life through holidays, laughter, and memory-making moments with those she loved. She lived her life fully, fiercely, and with a heart open to everyone around her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Lake Springfield Beach House from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, where all are welcome to share memories and honor her vibrant spirit.
