Sharon Naes, 76, passed away on July 21, 2025, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis County, Missouri. She was born to Russell and Amelia Wagner on July 13, 1949. Sharon had three siblings: Tony (the late Rose) Wagner, Robert (JoAnn) Bruner, and Skip (the late Connie) Wagner.

In 1966, Sharon met the love of her life, Gary Naes, while working at Linco International. They were married in 1968 and together raised three children: Melanie (Derek) Hebda, Casey (Travis) Massman, and Jon (the late Joy) Naes.  Gary preceded her in death in 2020.

Sharon’s work career included working for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and Verizon, where her gift of sales allowed her to earn many corporate awards.

Sharon is survived by her siblings, siblings-in-law, children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A devoted grandmother, she took great pride in her seven grandchildren—Matthew, Nickolas, Jacob, Avery, Dakota, Brenek, and Dalton. Though she is no longer with them, her family finds comfort in knowing she will continue to watch over them from above.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled at Immaculate Conception of Dardenne Catholic Church on August 4, 2025 at 12:00pm.

Sharon had a special love for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
