Bill (affectionately known to some of us by his nickname “Load”) was a Kappa Sigma pledge brother and a varsity football and rugby teammate in college. He was the best man in our wedding. What great memories. Bill & Julie more recently moved next-door to my sister, and Bill often commented how much he enjoyed our granddaughters when they came over to visit. Bill was a genuine good friend to all he met, and he will definitely be missed. Our deepest sympathy to Julie and family.

Bill was one of my best friends and there are many good things I could say about his life.
One was his love of White House Retreat. Bill was a Captain in our Retreat and brought many other men to White House. He made 46 Retreats and wanted so badly to reach 50. It was after 46 that he became very ill.
    We will miss you.
